Match-Trader brings AI Assistants directly to broker data via MCP
Leading trading technology provider Match-Trade has announced that brokers and prop firms can now query Match-Trader Manager and Admin data through Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible AI clients, getting answers in seconds instead of hours.
Match-Trade Technologies has launched Match-Trader Broker Management MCP, an integration that connects brokers and prop firms to their Match-Trader operational data through AI assistants. Teams can ask direct questions in plain language and receive structured answers drawn from their live environment, with no need for manual data extraction and reconstruction.
From Multi-Step Extraction to One Question
Brokers generate large amounts of operational data across trading activity, client accounts, risk exposure, and settlements. Getting actionable insight out of that data is still often slow and manual: navigating several screens, exporting CSV files, merging spreadsheets, and requesting custom queries from technical teams. Every investigation cycle carries that friction, from routine client checks to time-critical risk reviews.
Match-Trader Broker Management MCP replaces that process with a single query. For example, a dealing desk can ask: “Show net exposure on XAUUSD by group and list the top 10 accounts by floating P&L with margin level below 150%.” The assistant retrieves the relevant data from the Match-Trader environment and returns a consolidated, structured answer.
How Model Context Protocol Works
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard for connecting AI applications to external systems through defined functions. Match-Trader Broker Management MCP is an MCP server for the Match-Trader platform – a secure, permissioned gateway that connects AI clients to data in Match-Trader Manager and Admin.
The current release provides more than 20 actions covering accounts, positions and orders, ledgers, group and instrument configuration, market data, trading sessions, and risk rules. Each action is a specific, well-defined operation, so AI assistants stay strictly within the broker’s established access controls.
Use Cases Across Broker Teams
Once connected, brokers can get answers across every part of their operation. Below are example prompts by team.
Dealing desk and risk management
- What is the current exposure by instrument, and which accounts contribute most to it?
- List accounts in group X with margin level below 120%.
- Show the routing and hedging rules applied to group Y.
- Which abuse rules are configured, and which groups do they cover?
Back office and client support
- Show balance, equity, margin, credit, and P&L for account 12345.
- Summarize deposits, withdrawals, and credit operations for this account over the last 30 days.
- List all open positions and pending orders for this client.
Prop firm operations
- Compare leverage, commission, and symbol settings between the Phase 1 and Funded groups.
- Find all accounts in the evaluation group matching [condition].
Configuration and compliance
- Compare EURUSD instrument settings across the three main groups.
- Are any symbols currently disabled or outside trading hours? Which holidays are scheduled this week?
- List special accounts and their permissions.
Speed Without Sacrificing Control
Match-Trader Broker Management MCP operates within the access structure brokers already have in place. AI assistants work only through a defined set of actions, so teams gain faster access to information without changing how their platform is managed. Brokers choose which AI client their teams connect to.
Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match-Trader platform at Match-Trade Technologies said,
“Brokers have been collecting data faster than they could act on it. With Match-Trader Broker Management MCP, any team, from the dealing desk to client support, can ask direct questions of their Match-Trader environment through the AI tools they already use. The answers arrive in seconds, and every decision stays with the broker.”
Getting Started with MCP
Match-Trader Broker Management MCP is available to brokers and prop firms running a Match-Trader Full Server License. Setup follows a standard enablement process that lets compatible AI clients connect to Match-Trader Manager and Admin through a controlled, permissioned approach.
