Latest version of Cboe Silexx adds Hot Button Bar within Order Ticket
Cboe Silexx, a multi-asset order execution management system (OEMS) that caters to the professional marketplace, announces a set of enhancements as part of version 23.10.
- Hot Button Bar within the Order Ticket
Users can now improve their speed to market by leveraging Hot Buttons within Cboe Silexx. Create custom actions to automatically load your favorite broker algo preset, set an order quantity, or dynamically set a price – the configuration options are endless.
To enable, open an Order Ticket, then click on the settings cog. From here, enable ‘Show Button Bar’, then Save at the bottom. This will add a toolbar above the order form. Click on the ellipses within that toolbar, then click ‘New Hot Bar’.
This will pop up your Hot Bar Settings. From this window, enter a name for your bar and add at least one action (there are several system actions available by default). To add an action to your bar, you can double-click on an action under the Available Actions section.
To create a new action, click on the ‘New’ button in the bottom left corner.
When creating a new action, a name must be specified. This name will be used by default as the button’s label. The user can set a custom label separately after the action is created. Each field can be set to a specific value within the editor, or the user can choose [Current] or [Default]…
[Current] – The action will attempt to preserve the value that currently exists within the field at the time the button is clicked.
[Default] – The action will delete any existing value and restore the system default. If a user has configured order default rules within File > Settings, these rules will be applied if applicable to the loaded security.
- Update to latest version of implied volatilities, Greeks, and theoretical prices
Silexx has updated to v4 which uses a model-fitted volatility surface methodology with Greeks driven from theoretical prices. The prior versions methodology was based on mid-point.
- Ability to hide strike bars within Position Analyzer
Strike bars within the position analyzer (light grey vertical bars) can be hidden by clicking on the settings cog within position analyzer, then enabling the ‘Hide Strike Bars’ setting.
- P2P Account field addition within Order Manager & Order History
Users who leverage the Silexx Peer-to-Peer (P2P) routing functionality can now add the P2P destination account to their Order Manager and Order History modules. To add, enter the column chooser by right-clicking on an existing column header, then search for and enable ‘P2P ACCT’.
- Hot Keys: New actions to pop up derived order ticket, duplicate, and contra
Three new hot key actions have been created which allow a user to set a hot key to pop up a derived order ticket, duplicate an existing order, or contra a complex order. To enable, navigate to File > Settings > Hot Keys, then locate the new actions as seen below.
- New symbology supported for CSV imports to MT, QT, and Basket Trader
The following symbology syntax is now supported when importing a CSV file to the Multi-Order Ticket, Quick-Trade Ticket, and Basket Trader. This is in addition to previously supported Silexx symbology and OSI symbology.
<Root> <MM>/<DD>/<YY> <C/P> <Strike>
