Interactive Brokers updates platforms to display Odd Lot NBBO info within Order Entry
Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has updated its platforms in line with new SEC requirements regarding “Odd Lot” information.
Beginning April 27, 2026, the SEC has implemented amendments to certain rules under Regulation National Market System (Reg NMS). Under these amendments, the Market Data Infrastructure (MDI) Rules require that “Odd Lot” information be included in the exclusive Securities Information Processor (SIP) feeds.
As a result, market participants who subscribe to the exclusive SIP feeds will be able to view and access Odd Lot orders.
Exchanges have started publishing an odd lot National Best Bid and Offer (NBBO) in addition to the existing round lot NBBO. This new data supplements, rather than replaces, the current NBBO. IBKR platforms have been updated to receive, process, and display odd lot NBBO information within Order Entry.
To view this information, please take the following steps:
- In the top right corner of the quote details, select Odd Lot Data.
- The Odd Lot Data will populate on your screen.
