Interactive Brokers enhances Client Portal
As electronic trading major Interactive Brokers continues to expand its ongoing support for translation/localization, it announces that Client Portal now supports Portuguese.
Also, several bugs were fixed. For instance, the problem when in CP wide layout, the full page price chart’s price axis was partially covered when the sidecar order ticket is opened, has been resolved.
Traders can now customize inactivity duration before auto-logout.
Client Portal automatically logs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity. You can now change this duration and allow a session to remain active for 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes of inactivity.
To change the inactivity time-to-logout, from the Welcome Avatar menu find the Log Out After Inactivity command and click the current time period. Select a new duration and Save.
Note that when the inactivity time is reached, the broker will provide the option for you to stay logged in. This offer will display for 30 seconds and if not taken, you will be logged out.
Interactive Brokers has recently redesigned the Client Portal Order Ticket.
The Client Portal Order Ticket now uses a horizontal instead of a vertical layout which adapts better to different screen sizes. The new layout also helps users avoid having to scroll up and down to find fields as they create an order.
The vertical orientation is still available from the “Quick” order ticket that displays on the right side of the Client Portal interface.
Changes to the Order Ticket are also available in the Advisor Portal, along with support for Advisor Allocations.
