Interactive Brokers enhances Account Queries in Advisor Portal
Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers has made enhancements to the Portal for individual clients, advisors and brokers.
The latest set of enhancements concerns Account Queries. Additional queries are now available in the Account Queries tool including Investment Objectives, Tax ID, Stock Yield Enhancement Program, and Investor Category.
Let’s recall that the preceding update to the Portal also concerned account queries. Advisors and brokers got the ability to search and filter accounts by specific criteria such as account status, account type, application type, and margin type using the Account Queries tool.
Further, advisors and brokers are now able to create custom statements, flex queries, and PortfolioAnalyst reports on behalf of clients and configure the reports to be delivered directly to the client’s email address.
The Advisor Portal allows you to easily store and view information about all of your contacts, including clients, prospects, former clients and other personal and professional relationships. Every record is considered a “contact” and you can designate contacts as being of a certain type (prospects, clients, etc.)
You can create and store emails, notes, tasks and documents for each contact. send bulk emails to multiple contacts and organize contacts into groups. Interactive Brokers does not store or have access to your emails, notes and tasks; they are stored at Rackspace, a third-party cloud management solution provider.
Interactive Brokers regularly enhances its solutions. Earlier in September, for instance, the broker expanded the capabilities of its PortfolioAnalyst, a solution that consolidates, tracks and analyzes one’s complete financial performance. Performance analysis on individual and consolidated model portfolios has become available.
