Dukascopy introduces chart migration
Geneva-based retail FX and CFD broker Dukascopy introduces chart migration.
chart objects created in JForex3 can be imported in JForex4. Traders can save a chart template in old platform and open it in the new.
It is possible to migrate all the chart objects, including drawings, retracement tools, patterns, and indicators from the trading platform of the previous generation into the new one.
In order to do it, the objects of each chart have to be saved as chart template in old platform and opened in the new. The opening can be done with Drag&Drop method.
The objects will be imported as local objects, which can be moved to JCloud in Objects manager later.
JForex4 was released in January 2022. It became available to owners of live accounts in April 2022.
The platform enables traders to see the history of the best BID/ASK price movement. They can build any charts – including Renko, Kagi or Line break, with fully customizable settings. This becomes even more important for automated strategies testing.
JForex4 also allows traders to enable the maximum slippage option to set the limit of the possible worse price for market or stop type orders. Set it to zero to eliminate worse executions completely.
The platform offers a wide range of trading orders: Market, Limit, Stop, Take Profit, Stop Loss, Stop Limit, Trailing Stop, Place Bid/Offer, OCO, IFD etc.
There are 250 indicators and chart studies to choose from.
