CQG rolls out new version of desktop platform
CQG, a leading global provider of high-performance technology solutions for traders, brokers, commercial hedgers, and exchanges, has rolled out a new version of its desktop platform.
- CQG Desktop Version 6.1 adds a column to open the Options widget from QSS. It also adds an entry point to symbol display settings and symbol trading settings on right-click on a symbol.
- Traders will also notice the “Trade…” added to the right-click menu on orders.
- There are enhancements to the Publish Bids & Offers widget. It now offers the ability to group commodities by location when multiple locations are selected.
- Furthermore, columns for units have been added in the Positions, Orders, and Fills widgets. More columns have been aded to the Manage Custom Market widget too.
CQG regularly updates its platforms. The preceding release (5.12) introduced a multi-monitor capability to move widgets and pages out of the main CQG Desktop browser tab.
Also, the developers have added “Today’s Settlement” column to QSS, as well as a setting to abbreviate large DOM (depth of market) numbers. There are enhancements to mobile mode, as slide trader and HMS widgets have been added. Order placed time was added to available columns in the Download Order Report. Users of the platform also got the ability to select display symbol in various views.
