Cboe Silexx adds Position Monitor to Option Chain module
Cboe has unveiled further enhancements to Cboe Silexx, a multi-asset order execution management system (OEMS) that caters to the professional marketplace.
Version 23.4 of Cboe Silexx makes available a Position Monitor within the Option Chain module. This feature gives a consolidated view of your positions, Greek exposures, and other data points to help give you an inside view of your portfolio. To enable this feature, click the settings button on your Option Chain, then select “Show position monitor.” There is an optional “Show Greeks grouped by expiration,” which will expand your view to include all expirations for your holdings.
If speed to market is important to your workflow, Silexx now allows you to turn off order confirmations for new orders, replaces, and/or cancel events.
Bump Buttons can now be added to your Order Ticket. These handy buttons allow for a user to quickly increment or decrement the price of a live order by the user-specified amount. Buttons to join the bid, midpoint, or offer are also included with this new feature. To enable, click the settings button on your Order Ticket, then select “Show order modifiers.”
The Order Manager now allows for status filtering for your Staged and P2P (peer to peer) orders. When configured, this will allow you to have complete focus on orders that are in a working state while also easily locating orders that were rejected, completed, or canceled.
Cboe regularly updates Silexx. Earlier this year, the platform introduced a new order entry tool, Book Trader. Also known throughout the industry as the ladder, this unique way of entering and managing orders is now available.
An Order Greeks Panel has been added to the Multi Order Ticket. This panel will dynamically display all greeks for your single or complex order, including theoretical price, notional value, and dollar delta. Enable this feature by clicking on the settings button within the ticket and look for ‘Show Order Greeks’.
