Sucden Financial names Kirsty Gillies Head of Futures and Soft Commodities
Sucden Financial, a leading global multi-asset execution, clearing and liquidity provider, has named Kirsty Gillies as Head of Futures and Soft Commodities. The change was announced via Ms Gillies’ Linkedin profile.
Within Futures and Soft Commodities, Sucden offers comprehensive execution and clearing services for all key soft commodity futures and options contracts on European and US exchanges, alongside expert hedging and risk-management assistance and facilitation. Sucden also provides specialist access to over 20 exchanges covering listed financial, equity, commodity and FX futures and options, as well as access to cash fixed income. Offering both electronic (FIX) API and voice-execution solutions, the company provides trade assistance and liquidity sourcing for this extensive range of markets through a single access point.
Back in November 2018, Sucden Financial appointed Kirsty Gillies as Global Head of eFX Sales, to further enhance its presence across worldwide FX markets.
Ms Gillies joined Sucden Financial after spending eight years at UBS, where she held the position of Executive Director. She was responsible for running its eFX sales team in London, having begun her career at Barclays Capital.
Ms Gillies has a wealth of experience in electronic distribution for FX, rates and credit across a broad range of clients including banks, brokers, hedge funds, real money and corporates on a global scale.
