Swiss cantonal bank Graubündner Kantonalbank (GKB) has adopted Bloomberg’s Buy-Side Solutions, including the addition of AIM and an expanded use of PORT Enterprise, as well as Bloomberg’s BQuant Enterprise, to modernize front-office workflows, enhance portfolio analytics and support the continued evolution of its quantitative investment and sustainability reporting capabilities.
A long-standing user of the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Indices, GKB will now utilize Bloomberg AIM, a leading order and investment management solution, to optimize investment workflows across the front office, from order generation and trade execution to portfolio monitoring and fund holdings reconciliation.
With its expanded use of PORT Enterprise, GKB’s investment teams will also now have portfolio and risk analytics capabilities incorporated with their day-to-day investment processes, supporting portfolio oversight and reporting.
In addition, GKB is utilizing Bloomberg’s advanced BQuant Enterprise to further strengthen its quantitative research and investment business. As part of this initiative, the bank is expanding its use of the Python-based analytics platform, converting from Matlab and Excel, to support the evolution of its multi-factor investment models to deliver real-time analytics, interactive scoring and backtesting capabilities to portfolio managers through customized internal dashboards and monitoring tools.
