Compagnie Financiere Tradition registers 13.4% Y/Y growth in revenues in Q4 2023
Compagnie Financière Tradition today posted a revenue update for the final quarter and full year 2023.
The company generated revenues of CHF 244.1 million in the final quarter of 2023, up 13.4% from the year-ago period. Interdealer broking business (IDB) had revenues of CHF 253.8 million, up 12.3% from the level registered in the fourth quarter of 2022.
For the full year 2023, Tradition generated revenues of CHF 982.4 million, up 10.6% from the year-ago level.
The company explained that the normalization of the monetary policy of central banks with the increase in interest rates during the year followed by an observation period in the search of the balance point that combine the control of inflation and a soft landing of the economy, all in an already complex geopolitical environment, were supportive to the Group’s interdealer broking business activities.
Tradition also benefited from favorable market conditions in the energy and commodity businesses as well as the development of its activity dedicated to market data commercialization (TraditionData).
Furthermore, the Group’s activity continues to be stimulated by its organic growth policy.
