On Saturday, 7 October 2023, Clearstream Banking S.A. successfully performed a Business Continuity Management – Systems Unavailability test in which it offered clients the opportunity to participate.

The objective was to simulate the loss of one of the two data centres while production processing continued, thereby verifying that business activities could still be performed from the remaining data centre.

Clearstream’s IT and business teams validated the availability of business critical applications and performed day-to-day business activities in Cork, Frankfurt, London, Luxembourg, Prague and Singapore. Clients had the opportunity to participate from locations in Europe, the Middle-East, America and Asia and reported successful results.
