Banca Finnat Euramerica adopts Bloomberg’s Sell-Side Solutions to modernise tech underpinning its treasury function
Bloomberg announced that Banca Finnat Euramerica, one of Rome’s longest-established private and investment banks, has adopted Bloomberg’s Sell-Side Solutions to modernise the technology underpinning its treasury function, including front-office trading, profit-and-loss (P&L) and risk management, front-office order management, and its growing market-making business.
A long-standing Bloomberg Terminal client, utilization of Bloomberg’s TOMS (Trade Order Management Solutions) and MARS (Multi-Asset Risk System) brings Banca Finnat Euramerica’s front-office, risk and integration functions into a cohesive Bloomberg solution. The move gives the bank’s treasury and trading teams a unified, real-time view of positions, P&L and risk exposure, while reducing operational complexity across its trading infrastructure.
“As we grow our treasury and market-making activity, having a single, integrated view of positions, P&L and risk is essential. We needed our technology to keep pace with our ambitions”, said Arturo Nattino, CEO, Banca Finnat Euramerica. “Bloomberg’s TOMS and MARS solutions provides us with modern technology that gives our teams clarity and control in real time. This is a meaningful step forward for how we run the bank.”
“We are pleased to support Banca Finnat Euramerica and to be their technology partner of choice for treasury,” said Phil McCabe, Global Head of Sell-Side Solutions at Bloomberg. “We are committed to supporting banks like Banca Finnat Euramerica through their digital transformation and to helping them build a lasting competitive edge in treasury and trading.”
Bloomberg’s Sell-Side Solutions provide firms the ability to efficiently manage inventory, risk, P&L, compliance, and straight-through processing across various asset classes. The suite of solutions also includes market connectivity and trading tools to support a firm’s electronic trading workflows and help firms synchronize their front office risk and trading with middle-office, operations, and enterprise applications in real-time.
