Ziad Melhem departs Bus Dev role at Amana Capital
New Amana Capital CEO Muhammad Rasoul is starting to make his mark on the company, with the UAE based Retail FX broker announcing today that longtime business development head Ziad Melhem is leaving at the end of 2021.
The company added that Mr. Melhem, who has been with the organization for over eight years, will stay on in an advisory role to ensure a smooth transition until his successor is found.
“Amana Capital has been my home for the best part of a decade,” said Ziad Melhem. “Therefore, it is was not an easy decision for me to make; however, my family and I have decided that this was an opportune time to pursue other passions. On that note, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire Amana Capital team, particularly co-founders Karim Farra and Ziad Aboujeb for the opportunities extended to me and I am confident that the organization will continue to succeed as it always has.”
Muhammad Rasoul, who recently took up the role of Chief Executive Officer said,
“Although I have only recently joined Amana Capital, I have known Ziad for much longer. His successor will have big shoes to fill as Ziad has been instrumental in driving Amana Capital’s growth and customer base. We appreciate his staying on in an advisory role for the next few months and I do wish him the best with his new pursuits.”
