Hong Kong virtual bank ZA Bank Limited has announced the appointment of Ronald Iu as the new Chief Risk Officer. The appointment is effective from 30 August 2022.

Ronald Iu has over two decades of experience in the banking and financial industry. Prior to joining ZA International in February 2022 as Chief Strategy Officer, Ronald Iu was the Chief Executive Officer of Airstar Bank.

With his extensive banking experience, Ronald Iu also served as senior management in various global and local financial institutions including GE Capital (HK), China CITIC Bank International, Standard Chartered, and PrimeCredit.

Frederick Yip stepped down as Chief Risk Officer of ZA Bank with effect from 1 August 2022.
