Tradeweb Markets appoints Murray Roos to Board of Directors
Operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets Tradeweb Markets Inc (NASDAQ:TW) today announced the appointment of Murray Roos to its Board of Directors effective March 19, 2021. He succeeds Debra Walton, who will be stepping down from the Tradeweb board.
Mr Roos is Group Head of Capital Markets, London Stock Exchange Group plc (LSEG) and a member of the group’s executive committee. Prior to joining LSEG in 2020, he was Global Co-Head of Equities at Citigroup and previously led the bank’s Multi-Asset Structuring Group. He joined Citi in 2015 from Deutsche Bank, where he held a number of management and trading roles, and prior to that he was a trader at UBS.
Mr Roos earned a BSc in Engineering (Chemical) from University of Cape Town.
