Standard Chartered director Diane Jurgens to join Board of Infosys
Standard Chartered PLC announced today that Diane Jurgens, independent non-executive director will be appointed to the board of Infosys Limited, a company listed on the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, BSE Limited and New York Stock Exchange as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 22 April 2026.
Ms Jurgens was appointed as an independent non-executive director of Standard Chartered PLC in March 2024. She was also appointed to the Court of Standard Chartered Bank in March 2024.
Diane Jurgens has significant expertise in driving technology, product development and innovation to transform business operations across the mass media and entertainment, mining, automotive and aerospace sectors. She has led teams globally, having worked across 25 countries many of which align to the Group’s footprint markets within Asia, Africa and the Middle East as well as in Latin America and Europe. She also has 14 years of experience operating on the ground in both China and Singapore.
From 2020 to 2023, Diane Jurgens was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at The Walt Disney Company, where she oversaw Disney’s global enterprise technology organisation. She also represented The Walt Disney Company as a board member on the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.
Between 2015 to 2020, she was Chief Technology Officer of the multinational mining and metals company BHP, where largely based in Singapore, she was responsible for leading capital program delivery, technology operations, cyber security, data privacy, and research and development.
Between 2012 and 2015, Diane Jurgens was President & Managing Director of an American and Chinese joint venture, Shanghai Onstar Telematics and was based in Shanghai. Prior to that, she held numerous senior executive positions at General Motors including several global roles across many of the Group’s key markets, building extensive international experience including nearly ten years living in China.
