Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) appoints Norbert Wong as Chief Risk Officer

Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (SCBHK) today announced the appointment of Norbert Wong as Chief Risk Officer, effective on 1 July 2024.

Norbert succeeded Darren Kim who has been appointed as Chief Risk Officer, Americas, Standard Chartered and relocated to New York, the USA. Norbert also holds the position of Chief Risk Officer, Hong Kong and Greater China & North Asia.

Norbert holds a double degree in Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from The University of Auckland and a master’s degree in Management (Banking) from Massey University of New Zealand. He joined Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited in 2017 and relocated to join SCBHK in 2021.
