FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Cyprus-based FX and CFDs broker SquaredFinancial has hired Filippo De Rosa as the company’s new Head of Sales.

Filippo De Rosa had been with Australia based FX broker AxiTrader for the past three and a half years, based in the UAE, heading up Axi’s retail and institutional business in the Middle East. Before joining AxiTrader in 2017 Mr. De Rosa was Head of Sales for IG in Dubai, and Head of the Abu Dhabi office for Danish firm Saxo Bank. He had also been branch manager of Italy for US online firm E*Trade.

Mr. De Rosa will be moving from the UAE to Cyprus for his new role with SquaredFinancial.

FNG has also learned that SquaredFinancial has hired FX industry trading veteran Raff Cioffi as the firm’s new Chief Dealer. Raff Cioffi joined SquaredFinancial in London in April of this year, but will also be relocating to Cyprus this summer for his new role.

Prior to joining SquaredFinancial Mr. Cioffi was Chief Dealer at FX.IM. He has also held a variety of senior trading roles at GKFX, LCG, and CMC Markets in London.

The latest hires by SquaredFinancial are part of a larger hiring spree and realignment of the firm, led by Philippe Ghanem who took control of SquaredFinancial earlier this year after leaving ADSS. We had earlier reported that SquaredFinancial hired PrimeXM veteran Chrysovalantis Karageorgiou as its new Head of Middle Office.
