Shadi Salloum joins XS.com as Regional Director for MENA
Retail FX and CFDs broker XS.com has announced another addition to a long list of new hires, adding industry veteran Shadi Salloum as Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Shadi’s main responsibilities will include leading a growing team and ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s MENA operations as he reports to Wael Hammad, the Chief Commercial Officer of XS Group.
Wael Hammad, the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at XS.com commented on the new hire:

Shadi Salloum has been working within the financial services industry for over a decade and has held roles including Country Manager, Senior Key Account Manager and Sales Manager. He spent the past three years with Exness, as Senior Key Account Manager and Country Manager, based in both Dubai and Limassol. He has also previously worked at Equiti Group, Axi, and Alpari.
Originally established in Australia in 2020, XS.com is now headquartered in both Cyprus and the UAE. Recent additions at XS.com began with Mohamad Ibrahim coming on board as the Group’s new CEO early this year. Other recent hires include Ahmed Negm as XS.com’s new Head of Market Research for the MENA region, ICM.com exec Wael Hammad as CCO as noted above, ex IQ Option exec Stephanie Michael as Global Head of HR, FxPro executive Despina Iapona named to head PR and Branding, and AvaTrade / Scope Markets alum Chanelle Tsoka who joined to be South Africa Country Director.
