Schroders appoints Dame Elizabeth Corley to BoD
Schroders plc today announces that Dame Elizabeth Corley will join its Board as a Non-executive Director, member of the Nominations Committee and Chair designate. The changes are effective 1 September 2021.
Subject to shareholder approval, Dame Elizabeth Corley will succeed Michael Dobson as Chair at the conclusion of the Company’s Annual General Meeting, currently scheduled for 28 April 2022.
Ms Corley is a leading figure in financial services with over 45 years’ experience including as CEO of Allianz Global Investors, and previously at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Coopers & Lybrand. She is currently a non-executive director of Pearson plc, BAE Systems plc and Morgan Stanley. She is also Chair of the Impact Investing Institute.
She will step down from her roles as a non-executive director of Morgan Stanley and Pearson plc before becoming Chair at Schroders.
