Exclusive: Point Nine hires bus dev exec Christina Barbash from FXPrimus
FNG Exclusive… Limassol, Cyprus based post-trade processing and regulatory reporting solutions provider Point Nine has made its second senior business development hire from within the Retail FX space in the span of a few months.
FNG has learned that Point Nine has added Christina Barbash as the company’s new Business Development Manager. Ms. Barbash joins Point Nine from Retail FX broker FXPrimus, where she worked since 2016, also in a senior business development role. Prior to FXPrimus Christina had been with now defunct broker Stock.com and UFX Markets.
Christina Brabash noted to FNG about her new position at Point Nine:
“After observing the evolution of the RegTech and Data Processing sector, I decided that now is the right time to enter the market, partake and contribute to such change-driven financial landscape. Couldn’t be happier of the opportunity with Point Nine, a team full of brilliant minds and a modern culture.”
As noted this is the second senior bus dev hire for Point Nine recently. In June FNG reported that the company added Chris Rowe from MT4 technologies specialist Gold-i, expanding Point Nine’s footprint into the UK covering both Sales and Business Development for Point Nine in the region.
Founded in 2002, Point Nine collaborates with both buy- and sell-side financial firms, service providers, and corporations to help them ensure high-quality and accurate reporting to remain compliant with regulators including EU (EMIR, MiFIR SFTR), Australia ASIC, Singapore MAS, and Switzerland FinfraG.
