FNG has learned that leading UK online broker IG Group (LON:IGG) has hired Behrouz Bayat, as the company’s new Director of Group Technology Strategy & Ventures.

Based in London, Behrouz Bayat was Chief Information & Technology Officer (CIO & CTO) at Capital.com for two years, before departing late last year. Behrouz joined Capital.com from the online gaming sector, previously serving as Senior Director at Sweden based mobile gaming developer King Games, most famous for its popular Candy Crush game.

Behrouz was also previously Head of Product – WHAT Games at Paris based Gameloft.
