FNG has learned that leading Australia based online brokerage group IC Markets has hired Dubai based executive Jaser Mahmoud as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

IC Markets had been without a CTO since the departure of Sydney based Chris Judson last year, to become CTO of online business services provider Sleek.

Jaser’s main previous experience within the FX and CFDs sector was at ADSS, where he served as Head of Enterprise Architecture in 2023-2024. Most recently, Jaser was Chief Architect at real-world asset (RWA) tokenization company R3. He has also worked at Unifonic, Greensill Capital, Network International, and CashU. Jaser holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Amman Arab University.

IC Markets recently relaunched its prop trading unit, IC Funded, headed by General Manager Petros Kalaitzis.
