Cornerstone FS plc (LON:CSFS), a cloud-based provider of international payment, currency risk management and electronic account services to SMEs, announces that Glyn Barker, Non-Executive Director, has informed the company of his intention to step down from the Board with effect from 3 May 2022. This stems from his desire to reduce the number of roles in his directorship portfolio.

Mr Barker will continue to offer support to the company by joining its advisory panel, a much less time-consuming role than that of a Non-Executive Director.

The search for a replacement has already commenced and a further announcement will be made as and when appropriate.

The Board thanked Glyn Barker for his contribution over the last 18 months and wished him well for the future.

Glyn Barker is currently a non-executive director of Transocean Ltd (a deepwater oil rig operator), Chairman of Berkeley Group plc, Chairman of Irwin Mitchell (law firm) and Senior Advisor to Novalpina Capital. He was previously Managing Partner of PwC UK and Senior Independent Director of Aviva plc.
