FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that burgeoning regulated crypto exchange GCEX is continuing to grow its management team, with a clear focus on increasing its presence in the MENA region.

And most of its hires are coming with backgrounds from the Retail FX sector.

After FNG exclusively reported last week that GCEX had hired Saxo, IG, and ActivTrades alum Torben Gregers Friis as MD-EMEA, we have learned that the company has also added a senior hire to work under Mr. Friis, in the person of Ayman Kobti. Mr. Kobti’s new title at GCEX is Regional Director – MENA.

Ayman Kobti is an accountant by training with an innate understanding of Trading Systems and Technology. During his tenure at CFI from 2010-2016 in the company’s Beirut, Lebanon offices, Mr. Kobti set up and operated the entire CFI technology suite including MT4. In the past few years, he served as Managing Director of MENA Solutions, assisting institutional clients in the GCC region with strategic analysis of portfolios and risk optimization.

Ayman Kobti posted on social media that:
