Exclusive: Trive hires Umut Ozturk as CIO
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Trive (formerly GKFX) has hired Istanbul, Turkey based executive Umut Ozturk as the company’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Trive is a Retail FX and CFDs broker controlled by Turkish entrepreneur Kasim Garipoğlu. Trive began life as the GKFX online trading brand, but rebranded as Trive following a 2022 restructuring at Mr. Garipoğlu’s Turkey based Global Kapital Group, which included the transfer of ownership of its retail (GKFX) and institutional (GKPro) brokerage arms to Amsterdam based Trive, in which he has a controlling interest. The company later discontinued the Trivepro (formerly GKPro) institutional business, and applied to cancel the FCA license of the group’s UK arm Trive Financial Services UK Limited, from where Trivepro was operated.
