Finalto hires Antony Parsons as Head of Liquidity
Leading institutional trading services firm Finalto has announced that it has hired a new Head of Liquidity, Antony Parsons. He takes the reins from Andy Biggs, who has become the company’s new Group Head of Risk and Trading.
Antony Parsons has over 15 years of experience, including ten years at Sucden Financial where he began in Operations and supporting the eFX front desk, before working up to the position of Deputy Head of eFX Coverage. After leaving Sucden in 2021 he spent the past year at ADM Investor Services International.
Matthew Maloney, Group CEO of Finalto, said:
“We are delighted to welcome industry expert Anthony Parsons to the team. He will be instrumental in our efforts to lead the market in what is best practise.”
The company said that Parsons has already got the ball rolling on a number of projects, and is looking to improve the liquidity offering globally to better reflect Finalto’s international position. He is hoping there will be some developments ready to deliver in the next few quarters.
Following a year of volatility in 2022, Antony Parsons says there’s plenty of scope for more volatility as we move into 2023. He said:
“The volatility may well continue, we will be focused on the central banks’ strategies to manage inflation and other global events – there’s lots of aspects still in play that can create volatility. Our job, then, is to work with our clients and liquidity providers to ensure our liquidity stays competitive.”
