Exclusive: TopFX Head of Sales Omar Al-Janabi departs
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Omar Al-Janabi, Global Head of Sales and Business Development at Cyprus based Retail and Institutional online broker TopFX, has left the company.
Omar Al-Janabi had been with TopFX for four years, initially joining the company in 2021 to head TopFX’s new Dubai office, as was also reported exclusively at the time here at FNG. Omar joined TopFX from Tickmill, where he was MENA Partnership Manager. He has also worked at Swiss Markets, FXPrimus, and XM.com in a variety of client facing roles.
TopFX has made a number of management changes over the past 12 months, since new CEO Victor Zachariades took the reins at the company. Earlier this summer we reported that TopFX CMO Vince De Castro left, for a similar role at trading signals provider Acuity Trading.
Omar posted the following note on social media regarding his departure from TopFX.
Today marks my final day at TopFX after four and a half years of dedication, challenges, and milestones.
This journey has been both rewarding and transformative. I am deeply grateful to everyone who placed their trust in me, supported me, and partnered with me along the way. The relationships forged and lessons learned will stay with me forever.
Stepping away was a thoughtful decision, grounded in reflection and honesty. I believe I have contributed all I can at this stage, and now it is time to embrace a fresh start and new challenges with optimism and confidence.
I move forward with immense gratitude for the past and great excitement for the future.
Thank you for being part of this chapter with me.
