Exclusive: Skilling installs George Kyriakoudes as CEO
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that CySEC licensed Retail FX and CFDs broker Skilling has named Cyprus based executive George Kyriakoudes as CEO.
George Kyriakoudes joined Skilling earlier this year as CFO, after serving as Group CFO at IronFX for the previous three years. When Skilling’s longtime CEO, Michael Kamerman, left the company soon after Mr. Kyriakoudes joined, Mr. Kyriakoudes was named Interim CEO. We understand that the Skilling board, led by Chairman (and former Capital.com CEO) Jon Squires, conducted an external search for a new CEO but eventually settled on installing George Kyriakoudes as full-time CEO, which was just settled last week, and the “Interim” tag was removed.
Prior to joining IronFX in 2021, George worked for eight years at ForexTime (FXTM), serving as FXTM’s CFO from 2016-2021. He had also previously worked at Alpari.
Skilling was founded in 2016 and is controlled by former Betsafe CEO André Lavold. The Skilling brand is operated under a Cyprus CySEC CIF license for EU clients, as well as offshore via Skilling (Seychelles) Ltd. The company is managed mainly from Cyprus.
