Exclusive: Openmarkets hires Pepperstone alum David Jenkins as CPTO
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Australia based brokerage services and technology company Openmarkets has hired David Jenkins, as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer.
David Jenkins served as Chief Product and Technology Officer at leading Australia based Retail FX and CFDs broker Pepperstone from 2022-2025. He has also held senior technology and business development roles at Frontier (institutional investors research), TP ICAP’s Liquidnet, Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, and Fidessa.
Openmarkets is in process of going public on NASDAQ via a reverse merger with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) Lake Superior Acquisition Corp (NASDAQ:LKSPU), at an estimated enterprise value of USD $300 million. Openmarkets provides brokerage services (trade execution, clearing and settlement services), options risk management and equity order management applications, as well as Wealth Management SaaS to financial technology providers, advice professionals including dealer groups, private wealth advisers, stockbrokers, and high-volume traders.
