FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Themis Christou has resigned his position as Group Head Of Marketing with FX/CFD broker M4Markets.

Themis Christou was one of a handful of senior Tickmill employees, who left in late 2020 / early 2021 to help establish M4Markets as a new online brokerage brand. M4Markets is managed mainly out of Cyprus, but operates as an offshore, Seychelles domiciled entity, formally incorporated as Trinota Markets (Global) Limited.

Other executives who have joined M4Markets from Tickmill include CMO Marilena Iakovou, marketing exec Mariliza Karrera, and Head Of Development Nikolas Fragkos.

M4Markets/Trinota was founded by Deepak Jassal, formerly an investment banker with HSBC, KPMG and UBS, and by Theofanis Nakos, a fixed income sales specialist. The company announced earlier this year that it has raised “significant capital” from Cyprus and Dubai based investors, although it didn’t specify the amount raised, the size of the stake sold, or who the investors actually are.
