Exclusive: Invast adds Michelle Dick as Senior Marketing Advisor
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Australia based FX brokerage group Invast Global has hired Michelle Dick to the newly created position of Senior Marketing Advisor.
Ms. Dick is a well-known branding and marketing expert in Australia. For the past eight years she has run her own consulting firm called 8RedFish, working with organizations such as investment firm Perpetual Limited, Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, Tourism Australia, Australian Museum, and WWF-Australia. She had also previously worked as Tourism Marketing Manager for the famed Sydney Opera House, Senior Marketing Coordinator at Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, and as Marketing Coordinator for the University of Wollongong.
FNG spoke with Gavin White, CEO of Invast Global, who said of the appointment,
“Michelle has a strong track record for delivering strategic and measurable growth. At Invast, we’re not interested in doing things the same way everyone else in the industry does. We want to be the benchmark. Which is why we were keen to bring in a respected expert from outside the industry. Michelle has some incredible branding and digital experience, and we want to leverage that. We are pleased that we have been able to attract someone of Michelle’s calibre.”
Michelle Dick added regarding her new role:
“Invast Global has a real reputation for being genuinely entrepreneurial and innovative, so I was super excited to accept this role with them. They’ve got a great mix of shall we say, ‘more mature’ industry experts and new talent with ‘bleeding-edge’ tech skills. I know they really pride themselves on their professional relationships. And this has flowed through to how they’ve onboarded me. Starting a new job, working from home has been a unique experience. But the team have been really welcoming. I’m looking forward to being a part of their continued growth.”
Invast Global runs both a Retail FX and CFDs business, as well as an institutional prime brokerage and liquidity operation, counting among its clients hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, retail brokerages and banks. The company is a subsidiary of publicly listed Japanese brokerage Invast Securities Co. (TYO: 8709).
