Exclusive: HFM hires Hantec exec Murilo de Oliveira as Brazil Country Manager
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker HFM (also known as HF Markets, and formerly known as HotForex) has hired London based executive Murilo de Oliveira as Country Manager for Brazil.
Murilo de Oliveira joins HFM after spending the past three years at Hantec Markets, where in Global Senior Business Development he focused on Portuguese speaking markets. He has also previously worked at Brazilian financial institutions XP and Itau BBA.
We’d note that Hantec’s former COO and CCO, Hayel Abu-Hamdan, joined HFM earlier this year as Chief Commercial Officer.
HFM rebranded its retail brokerage operations from HotForex to just HFM / HF Markets in 2022. The group operates CySEC licensed HF Markets Europe Ltd (at website hfeu.com), FCA regulated HF Markets (UK) Limited, Dubai DFSA licensed HF Markets (DIFC) Ltd, FSCA regulated HF Markets SA (PTY) Ltd in South Africa, as well as offshore HF Markets (Seychelles) Ltd at website hfm.com.
Murilo posted the following note on social media regarding his move to HFM.
It is with great satisfaction that I officially take on the role of Country Manager for HFM in Brazil.
I step into this new challenge with a firm commitment to lead HFM’s expansion in the country, always guided by ethics, excellence, and a focus on the sustainable growth of our business and partners.
Our commitment is clear: to further strengthen our presence in Brazil by delivering top-tier service, long-term relationships, and solutions that truly make a difference. We are ready to build a solid, robust, and market-leading operation.
Let’s move forward. The work is just beginning. 📍🇬🇧 @hfmbroker @hfmlatam
