FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Dubai based startup CFDs broker Epic Markets has added experienced industry executive Zuzana Hashemi to its team. Zuzana will serve as Epic Markets’ Head of Legal & Compliance.

Zuzana Hashemi is a CFDs industry compliance expert, who also spent time as CEO of Dubai based CFDs broker GS Securities. She has also worked in senior management and compliance roles at BP Prime, BITmarkets, Gulf Brokers DMCC, and Goldenburg Group. Most recently, Zuzana was Head of Compliance at ROSTRO Group’s UAE unit.

Epic Markets, which plans to formally launch later this year or early in 2027, was established by two former senior managers who ran the eFX business for market maker Citadel Securities, Kevin Kimmel and Bryan Seegers. The company plans to operate as a multi-asset retail broker with a presence in both the US and the UAE. Epic Markets is backed by a $10 million pre-seed round of funding, from London-based hedge fund and venture capital investor Karatage.
