Exclusive: Afterprime back office head Jelena Dubackic joins eToro

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that online broker eToro has hired experienced industry executive Jelena Dubackic, as Financial Crime Operations Manager.

Jelena Dubackic, who is based in Cyprus, joins eToro after spending the past two years at Afterprime, serving as Head of Back Office for the Australia based, CySEC licensed CFDs broker. Jelena has also previously worked at institutional broker Blackwell Global, and at CRM systems provider TradeCore.

eToro went public in May of last year. The broker is headquartered in Israel, led by CEO Yoni Assia.

Prior to starting FNG, Gerald founded Forex industry news website LeapRate.com in 2010, selling it in 2018 to publicly traded Catena Media plc (STO:CTM). An avid skier, cyclist and ice hockey player, Gerald was previously an investment banker for more than a decade at Bear Stearns, Robertson Stephens, and Merrill Lynch. Gerald holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a BCOM degree from the University of Toronto.
