FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Estonia based Retail FX and CFDs broker Admirals has implemented a leadership change in its Central and Eastern European operations.

After serving as Regional Director for Romania and Hungary & Country Branch Manager – Admirals Romania since 2021, Bogdan Albu is handing over responsibilities to Cosmin Ruse (pictured above), who will assume the position as part of a planned leadership transition.

Bogdan Albu leaves his role after six years within Admirals, where he initially held a coordination position in the company’s global sales structure, before setting up Admirals’ Romania branch and took over the regional responsibilities for Romania and Hungary. Prior to joining Admirals, he spent seven years at XTB Romania, where he was directly involved in building and expanding the local Romanian branch.

Bogdan Albu commented on the transition,

“I’m very pleased to see Cosmin stepping into this role. We are not only long-time colleagues, but also close friends, having worked together on various projects over the years. He’s an experienced finance professional and trader, with deep knowledge of the market, and I’m confident that the region is in excellent hands under his leadership. Cosmin Ruse, a seasoned financial professional, also brings extensive experience from the brokerage industry. He previously led the Romanian branch of UK based broker City Credit Capital, and has held management roles in several local brokerage firms, covering areas such as operations, trading, marketing and sales. In addition to his leadership experience, he has a strong background as a trader and compliance professional, making him well-suited to drive Admirals’ continued development in Romania and Hungary.
