Exclusive: ex Revolut exec Andreas Kapsos joins Plum as Head of Brand
FNG Exclusive… Following our exclusive report in August that online banking firm Revolut’s Marketing and Comms Manager Andreas Kapsos had left the company, FNG has learned that Andreas has now joined promising fintech startup Plum as the firm’s new Head of Brand.
A Cypriot native who has been based in London the past 10 years, Andreas Kapsos was one of the first and longest serving employees at Revolut, joining in 2016 as a social media assistant and rising up the ranks to become Marketing and Communications Manager at the fintech unicorn. He was a key part of the team which helped drive the online success of Revolut in the UK and in markets around the world, and in particular on social media.
Plum is a London and Athens based fintech startup. Founded in 2016 by former TransferWise exec Victor Trokoudes, Plum has developed an AI-driven app which helps people to save and better manage their money. The company recently closed a $10 million financing round led by Japan’s Global Brain and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, both of which were previous investors in the company.
