CMC Markets hires Citi exec Christine Romar as Head of Europe
London based online broker CMC Markets (LON:CMCX) has announced that the company has hired Frankfurt, Germany based executive Christine Romar, who will lead the company’s European business.
Christine Romar joins CMC Markets from Citi, where she most recently served as Head of EMEA – Public Listed Products Sales & Distribution, responsible for the structured products business. Prior to this, she held positions at BNP Paribas and Bank Vontobel. During this time, Romar was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the European Derivatives Association (EUSIPA) and the Board of the German Structured Securities Association (BSW).
Christine Romar will become CEO and the third member of the management team of CMC Markets Germany GmbH, alongside Craig Inglis (CCO Europe) and Harald Alberts (COO Europe).
