FNG has learned that leading MENA region based online broker CFI has hired Michael O’Sullivan, as Senior Technology Advisor.

Michael O’Sullivan, based out of London, has spent the past 20 years in the Retail FX and CFDs sector, in a variety of senior technology related roles. He joins CFI after serving as CTO of rival broker Hantec Markets. Prior to joining Hantec in 2023, Michael served as CTO of INFINOX. Has has also worked at ATFX, and at CMC Markets.

In his newly created role at CFI, Michael will act as a senior advisor to the CEO and executive leadership, supporting the strengthening of technology operations across CFI’s multi-region trading environment. Focusing on incident management, change governance and service coordination, he will be embedding practical, auditable processes into live workflows to improve operational stability and execution discipline at CFI.

We’d note that CFI recently hired former Libertex executive Martin Kiuru as CTO. Hantec has hired INFINOX executive Vivek Mehta as CTO, replacing Mr. O’Sullivan.
