Boku appoints Sandra Alzetta as independent non-exec director
Boku, Inc (LON:BOKU), a global network of Local Payment Methods (LPMs), today announced that, following an externally facilitated search, Sandra Alzetta has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company with immediate effect.
Ms Alzetta most recently served as Vice President, Global Head of Payments and Customer Service at Spotify, where she spent seven years leading the development and scaling of the company’s global payments infrastructure during a period of rapid international growth, and later expanded her role to global customer service where she focused on improving customer experience through automation and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
Prior to Spotify, Ms Alzetta held interim and advisory roles in financial technology businesses, including leading product and marketing at a fintech specialising in digital custody and settlement services. Sandra spent over 25 years at Visa Europe, holding senior leadership roles across digital solutions, core products, mobile payments, innovation and consumer market development and regional growth.
Sandra Alzetta is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director at Fabrick, an open finance platform within the Sella Group where she has served since 2021 and represented Spotify as a founding council member of the Diem Association.
