FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Moscow based forex broker tech and solutions provider B2Broker has hired seasoned FX industry executive Alex Iakobachvili, as its new Executive Director for its London arm B2B Prime Services UK Ltd.

Alex Iakobachvili was CEO of FX broker Price Markets for the past two years. He had been hired to Price Markets when new ownership arrived in 2019, from Global Markets Group (GMG UK) where he was Managing Director. Alex also previously worked as VP Sales at Global Market Index Limited (GMI UK); as Vice President at CFH Clearing (now Finalto) from 2010-2017; and also had work stints at Squared Financial, London Capital Group, and FXall.

B2Broker has been in expansion mode the past while. The company set up the UK company B2B Prime Services UK Ltd in late 2020, but it hasn’t done much to date. The group established B2B Prime Services EU Ltd (formerly known as Menasecurities Ltd) in Cyprus, and plans to launch a new brand called B2Prime from Cyprus led by CEO Nick Chrysochos. B2Prime will be a CySEC-regulated Prime of Prime (PoP) multi-asset liquidity provider for institutional and professional clients, across an entire spectrum of CFDs – Forex, metals, commodities, shares, indices and cryptocurrencies.

The company also recently set up an offshore arm, in Mauritius, called B2B Prime Services Limited.

The B2Broker group is controlled by Ukrainian national Evgeniya Mykulyak (pictured at right), and Russian national Arthur Azizov who has been group CEO since 2014.
