FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Victor Gherbovet has submitted his resignation to Admiral Markets Group, which will become effective as of tomorrow, July 1.

Victor Gherbovet joined Admiral Markets in 2008, and has been a member of the Management Board of subsidiary Admiral Markets Group AS since 2017. He was named co-CEO of Admiral Markets Group in January 2021, and also sat on the board of the group’s FCA licensed entity in London Admiral Markets UK Ltd . Mr. Gherbovet is based in Bucharest, Romania, and has been responsible for the company’s operations in that country as well as across much of south eastern Europe.

Sergei Bogatenkov, CEO of Admiral Markets, said that he was very sorry to see Victor Gherbovet leave the company:

“We are extremely grateful to him for the years he was part of the Admirals team. His contribution to the development of the company has been enormous, and together we have celebrated great victories, learned valuable lessons and approached the long-term goals we have set ourselves as a company. Although I am sorry that such a valued player is leaving our team, I understand his desire to move forward and wish him well in accepting the new challenges.”

Admiral Markets AS will also elect Dmitri Lauš as a member of the Supervisory Board, with effect from July 1, 2021. At the same time, it is planned to recall Dmitri Lauš from the Management Board of the company.
