Estonia-based Retail FX and CFDs brokerage group Admiral Markets AS has announced that it intends to appoint Victor Gherbovet as a new Management Board Member, effective from July 27, 2020.

Following the appointment Admiral Markets AS will have four Management Board Members: Sergei Bogatenkov, Victor Gherbovet, Dmitri Lauš and Jens Chrzanowski.

The company said that the changes in the Management Board are due to the long-term strategy of Admiral Markets AS and the desire to increase the company’s presence in new global markets.

Victor Gherbovet joined Admiral Markets in 2008, and has been a member of the Management Board of subsidiary Admiral Markets Group AS since 2017. He is based in Bucharest, Romania, and has been responsible for the company’s operations in that country as well as across much of south eastern Europe.

Admiral Markets is in the process of raising €10 million in capital through a planned debt offering, as was exclusively reported by FNG last month. In another recent personnel move the company hired former Kuehne+Nagel executive Andrey Trusov as Admiral Markets’ new CIO.
