Nadex revokes membership of trader for providing misleading info
The Nadex Compliance Department found that Janeen Young intentionally provided misleading, erroneous, or fraudulent information in response to Compliance’s Account Inquiry regarding her relationship with other Nadex Members in violation of Rule 5.19(k).
Nadex additionally found Janeen Young violated Rule 5.19(l) by soliciting customer funds for trading at Nadex and that this solicitation violated Rule 5.19(m) for operating in any capacity as a Nadex Member that may require registration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) without being properly so registered.
Based on Nadex’s investigation, the Compliance Department determined that Janeen Young violated Rule 5.19(k) by providing a misleading, erroneous, or fraudulent response to Compliance’s Account Inquiry regarding her relationship with other Nadex Members.
Additionally, the Compliance Department determined that Janeen Young violated Rule 5.19(l) by soliciting customer funds for trading at Nadex and Rule 5.19(m) by operating or soliciting in a capacity as a Nadex Member that may have required registration with the CFTC.
As a result of the aforementioned violations, the Nadex Compliance Department has deemed it appropriate to assess Janeen Young a fine of $2,000.
Additionally, Janeen Young’s Nadex Membership has been revoked, her account terminated, and she has been permanently banned from trading on Nadex Markets, either directly for her own account or through an intermediary, or as an authorized trader on behalf of any other account.
