LME approves resignation of R.J. O’Brien Limited
The London Metal Exchange (LME) has approved the resignation of R.J. O’Brien Limited (RJO).
R.J. O’Brien Limited will withdraw from Membership of LME Clear in accordance with the LME Clear Rules and Procedure Rule 3.6.
Both the LME & LME Clear resignations will take effect immediately. All system access to LME and LME Clear will also be disabled.
On 31 July 2025 StoneX Group, Inc completed the acquisition of the R.J.O’Brien group. At close of business 02 January 2026 R.J.O’Brien Limited transferred its business, and the majority of its assets to StoneX Financial Ltd.
