The London Metal Exchange (LME) confirmed today that Mr David Warren has been made an Honorary Member of the LME in recognition of his service to LME Group.

Prior to joining LME Clear as Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2023, Mr Warren had spent three decades in financial services, gaining significant expertise in global financial markets infrastructure and regulation. His roles included Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Interim Chief Executive of the London Stock Exchange Group, CFO and Senior Advisor at NASDAQ and Non-Executive Director of LCH Group Holdings Ltd.

Until his retirement in December 2025, he also led the formalisation of LME Clear’s strategy as it positions itself to modernise and drive innovation at this pivotal moment for global metals markets.
