Japanese online services provider GMO Internet, Inc (TYO:9449) today announces plans regarding its listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE).

At a meeting of held today, GMO Internet’s Board of Directors has decided that the company will apply for “Prime Market” listing on the TSE under the Exchange’s new market segments.

GMO Internet has received the results of the initial assessment of its compliance with the listing standards of new market segments from the TSE on July 9, 2021. The company confirmed its compliance with the listing standards for the “Prime Market” under the new market segments.

The change to the new market segments is scheduled for April 4, 2022. The company will proceed with the procedures set forth by TSE according to the schedule of the application stipulated by the TSE.
