International derivatives marketplace CME Group has provided a brief update regarding the data centre issues first reported more than six hours ago.

CME Group stated:

“BrokerTec US Actives and BrokerTec EU are now open. Due to a cooling issue at CyrusOne data centers, our other markets are currently halted”.

Numerous brokerages have confirmed the CME markets pricing problems. The list includes (among others) IG, OANDA, FOREX.com, eToro. All of these companies said they are monitoring the situation and will provide updates.
