Cboe to launch self-service Mutual Adjust/Bust tool in Customer Web Portal
Effective September 28, 2026, Cboe will introduce a new self-service Mutual Adjust/Bust tool in the Customer Web Portal for all Cboe-affiliated Options Exchanges, providing customers an automated method for managing Mutual Bust/Adjust requests, improving accuracy and efficiency.
On the effective date, Members can use the new self-service Mutual Adjust/Bust tool in the Customer Web Portal to electronically submit, manage, and approve mutual adjust and bust requests for eligible electronic executions without the need to submit a request to the Cboe Trade Desk.
The existing Mutual Adjust/Bust Form on the Cboe public website and Customer Web Portal will be decommissioned on October 12, 2026. Members must transition to the new self-service tool for all mutual adjust/bust requests prior to this date.
The self-service Mutual Adjust/Bust tool is controlled by a new portal privilege that must be assigned by Account Administrators. By default, permissions apply to all EFIDs associated with the firm. Account Administrators may optionally configure a different set of approvers for a specific EFID or group of EFIDs by contacting the Cboe Trade Desk.
Account Administrators are requested to assign the new Mutual Adjust/Bust tool permission prior to September 28, 2026 but must assign the new permission prior to October 12, 2026 to appropriate users within their firm. Users without this permission will be unable to submit or approve requests.
This functionality is currently available for testing in the Cboe Options certification environment.
